Dança Indiana e Práricas de Palco / Indian Dance and Stage Practice (Bollywood)
Em 1987, inicia a sua formação em dança, com Ballet Clássico. Em 1997, inicia a sua formação nas Artes Orientais: Dança, Yoga, Artes Marciais. Em 2002 concluí a graduação em Teatro na ESMAE no Porto e faz um ano de especialização em Dança na UFBA, Brasil. Realiza o curso de pesquisa e experimentação coreográfica do Fórum Dança, onde trabalha com coreografas Clara Andermatt e Margarida Bettencourt. Desde então realiza várias viagens de estudo a África, Turquia, Israel e em especial à Índia, onde já esteve três vezes para dar profundidade ao seu estudo de dança Clássica Odissi, dança do Rajasthan e Bollywood. A nível nacional já actuou na RTP e SIC, Coliseu de Lisboa, Teatro do Campo Alegre, Festival do Sudoeste, etc. A nível internacional foi convidada a actuar no festival Fringe em Macau, no festival Snow Mountain na China, no festival de Musicas do Mundo no México e no festival de Temple Dance na Índia.
Finish the Secondary School in the course of Nature and Sciences . Her Bachelor's degree was of Theater, in the University of Music and Performing Arts of Porto. eceive a scholarship, to go three months to England to the Dartington College of Performing Arts. Was accepted as a foreign student in the University of Dance of Bahia in Brasil, making one year of Specialization in Dance. Studies Classical Ballet, until the forth grade, from the England Royal Academy. Accomplishes a six months course of Choreography in the Forum Dança. Studies Middle Eastern Dance with several teachers, to deepen this research travel to Morocco, Turkey, Greece ,Spain, etc. Was four times in India to study intensively Classical Indian dance, Odissi from the East and Kathak From the North. Teacher of Middle Eastern dance for more than ten years, Teacher of Odissi dance and Bollywood. Dancer of several dance companies like : Terrae Ignota; Anaidcram; Gadjé; Zambra and Terrakota Made tours in Mexico ,Spain,France , Macau, China , India , la Reunion etc Choreographer of her own pieces and other dancers also, creating her own dance company She made 5 intensive journeys to India , to study classical dance : Kathak and Odissi, Bollywood and Rajasthani folk.
